Food blogger and cookbook author, Jonathan Melendez along with comedian and actor, Julian Clark bring you a new and refreshing cooking show on IGTV. In times like these, it’s important for us to have good gay representation in social media. One knows his way around the kitchen while the other can’t even boil water. What ensues in the show’s first season is a mix of funny and informative episodes that are sure to inspire.

Season 1

Episode 1: “You Don’t Want a Soggy Bottom”

In the first episode of Married and Hungry, Jonathan teaches Julian how to make Chicken Paillard, which happens to be the first dish Jonathan cooked for Julian, way back in the day, when they first started dating.

Episode 2: “No Shell On My Watch, B*tch”

In this episode, Julian learns how to make Peanut Butter Banana Cupcakes for the first time…after Jonathan makes a shocking discovery about Julian’s hatred for cupcakes.

Episode 3: “Down Home Cooking, Y’all”

In this episode, Julian learns how to make biscuits for the first time, which go on top of a Sausage and Gravy Egg Casserole. Jonathan says y’all too many times and they both go on yet another Ralph’s rant. 

Episode 4: “It’s Like Pie Soup”

In this episode, Julian learns how to make Strawberry Rhubarb pie and Jonathan explains the maybe dangers of rhubarb…or tries to.

Episode 5: “Aloha and Mahalo”

In this Episode, Julian learns how to make a classic Pineapple Upside Down Cake and despite Jonathan’s persistent warnings, the upside down part is a sight to see.

Episode 6: “Meryl Streep of Amateur Cooking Shows”

In this week’s episode, Julian learns how to make Black Bean Soup with all of the toppings, and Jonathan divulges all of his rice cooking secrets.

Episode 7: “I’m Running Things Now”

In this week’s episode, Julian learns how to make Everything Bagel Pretzels and thinks he’s now in charge. Jonathan better watch out. 

Episode 8: “This Is Very Sexual, I Don’t Like It”

In this week’s episode, Julian learns how to make Frosted Circus Animal Sugar Cookies and Jonathan thinks he’s a comedian now.

Episode 9: “Season One Finale”

In this week’s season finale, Jonathan teaches Julian how to make a homemade version of Hamburger Helper. Childhood dreams really do come true.”

“The Halloween Special”

In the Halloween Special, Jonathan teaches Julian how to make Pumpkin Cinnamon Sugar Doughnuts in crappy Halloween costumes.

It’s the Married and Hungry Thanksgiving Episode brought to you by Marine Layer. Jonathan teaches Julian how to make an easy and delicious Apple Orange Cranberry Crostata, which would be perfect on your holiday table!

Happy Holidays from Married and Hungry! In this episode, Jonathan teaches Julian how to make Homemade Eggnog two ways! Nothing says Christmas like double the booze!

 

Season 2

Episode 1: “I’m Just Here to Be Eye Candy”

Married and Hungry is back for Season 2! In the season premiere, Jonathan teaches Julian how to make the easiest One-Bowl Chocolate Malt Cake. It’s simple but packed with a ton of chocolatey flavor!

Episode 2: “What Would You Do For Chicken Nuggets?”

In this week’s episode, Jonathan and Julian talk about their favorite fast food burgers and Julian learns all the secrets for making Shake Shack Style Smash Burgers at home!

Episode 3: “The Goldilocks of Balls”

In this week’s episode, Jonathan teaches Julian how to make Loaded Baked Potato Croquettes, and Jonathan carries the entire show on his shoulders because Julian is battling a cold and is a complete dud. 

Episode 4: “Diabetes on a Plate”

In this week’s episode Jonathan is teaching Julian all about his favorite childhood treat, the Fluffernutter! Homemade soft peanut butter cookies sandwiched with marshmallow crème and peanut butter and then dipped in melted chocolate. It’s a dream come true. 

Episode 5: “Domi-hoes or Pizza Slut?”

In this week’s episode, Jonathan spills all of his at-home pizza-making secrets with a recipe for Quick and Easy Pizza. Julian suffers his very first kitchen injury on the show. And there are a few special guest appearances.

Episode 6: “This Isn’t Sizzler. Eat With Some Respect.”

In this week’s episode, I’m teaching @thejulianclark how to make our favorite Hawaiian treat, Spam Musubi! Julian can’t shake off the injury from last week and I’m eating off the counter. It’s okay, we have it all under control.

Episode 7: “Don’t Manhandle My Eggs!”

In this week’s episode, the roles are reversed as one of Julian’s deepest darkest secrets is revealed and he teaches Jonathan how he used to cook his scrambled eggs with water. It’s a sight to behold. Jonathan then shares his tips and tricks for making the very best scrambled eggs piled on simple loaded toast

Episode 8: “The Butt of a Cow”

In this week’s episode Jonathan teaches Julian how to make a classic Nicaraguan dish called Salpicon, and they both take a lesson on the anatomy of a cow.

Episode 9: “You Don’t Make Friends With Salad”

In this week’s episode, Jonathan and Julian celebrate Mother’s Day with a super delicious, flavor-packed, Eggs Benedict Salad that would make any mother proud. It’s also the perfect dish to serve at your next brunch or breakfast any time of the year.

Episode 10: “La Isla Bonita”

In this week’s episode, Jonathan and Julian reminisce about the time they met on Instagram and they make a giant Peanut Butter Chocolate Doughnut Cake to pay homage to that recipe that brought them closer together. 

Episode 11: “It’s Time for a New Co-Host”

In this week’s episode, Jonathan teaches Julian how to make Banana Nutella Crêpes in honor of their trip to Paris this week for their 2nd wedding anniversary. Julian of course proceeds to insult everyone with his unwarranted hate for all things crêpes.

Episode 12: “The Season 2 Finale”

It’s the season 2 finale and Jonathan is teaching Julian how to make one of their all-time favorite dishes, Arroz con Pollo brought to you by Winc.
